Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-22
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. FreeTour.travel sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics, which loads when you open any page, sets analytics cookies; and our booking partners set attribution cookies on their own domains after you click through.
Cookies we use
| Category | Example | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Analytics (Google Analytics 4) | _ga, _ga_VGCZPVCTZ5 | Set by Google Analytics, which loads on every visit (with IP anonymization). Tells us, in aggregate, which destinations and pages are useful and how visitors arrive — not used to build individual advertising profiles. | Up to 2 years |
| Affiliate attribution | Civitatis (aid / cmp), Agoda (cid) | Set by the partner’s own domain after you click a booking link, so Civitatis or Agoda can credit FreeTour.travel if you complete a booking. We do not set these ourselves. | Varies by partner (typically up to 30 days) |
Affiliate disclosure
FreeTour.travel is a member of the Civitatis and Agoda affiliate programs. When you click a booking or hotel link on this Site and go on to complete a booking, we may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the Site free to use and free to list on.
Managing your preferences
There is no cookie banner: Google Analytics loads on every visit. You can refuse it — and any other cookie — in your browser settings (block or clear cookies for this site or for third parties), or by installing Google’s official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Affiliate-attribution cookies are set by Civitatis and Agoda on their own sites after you click through; you can block or clear them in your browser too, though that may prevent a partner from crediting your booking to us.
Most browsers let you review and delete cookies, or block them from specific sites, in their privacy or security settings.
