Colonial Churches of Buenos Aires Free Tour

Before the French palaces and the tango, Monserrat was Buenos Aires — and its colonial churches are the proof. Meeting at the corner of Bolívar and Adolfo Alsina, in the historic core beside the Manzana de las Luces and Plaza de Mayo, this tour visits four Catholic temples that shaped the capital's earliest centuries: San Ignacio, the oldest church still standing in the city; the Basílica de San Francisco; the Iglesia de Santo Domingo; and the Metropolitan Cathedral.
