This three-hour walk starts at Plaza Sotomayor, the ceremonial square that faces the working port and holds the monument to the sailors of the Battle of Iquique, then climbs into Barrio Puerto, the oldest part of the city, where 19th-century warehouses and customs buildings still line the streets closest to the sea.
